Watermelon Festival
Don’t miss the largest event in Franklin County! The Franklin County Watermelon Festival is a 2-day, free admission event full of vendors, car shows, watermelon contests, 5K & fun run, kid zone, live entertainment, and FREE WATERMELONS! This festival started in 1981 and has continued to grow every year! Come celebrate in Franklin County: The Watermelon Capital of Alabama!
